Good Morning all,

Welcome to today’s blog. How is everyone this rainy day? Hopefully it is wonderful where you are. We are expecting a couple of days of this gloomy rainy weather.

Today’s subject is Gluten and Gluten Free Diet.

So what is Gluten? Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley, rye, malts and triticale. It is used as a food additive in the form of a flavoring, stabilizing or thickening agent, often as "dextrin".
What is a gluten-free diet? A gluten free diet is the only medically accepted treatment for Celiac Disease ( an autoimmune disorder of the small intestine), the related condition Dermatitis Herpetiformis (a chronic blistering skin condition ), and Wheat Allergy.
